Life is Delicious! Santa Rosa Beach Photography
Yesterday we had a great time at Avery’s 7th b-day party. Luckily the rain stayed away and the kids had a blast playing in the pool at Redfish Village. We had some yummy food and the Maple Nut Oaties I made were a huge hit. I mean they were out of this world yummy and lots of people asked for the recipe. The recipe allows you to make some choices and so here are mine: I used Agave instead of Maple Syrup, Almond Butter and chunks of Dark Chocolate. Mouth watering yet? I am loving this BLOG and can’t wait to try some of her other recipes.
This is where I would insert a great photo of the birthday party, if I had taken any. Oops!
In other interesting not news, this week is teacher appreciation week and we are having fun spoiling our teachers. Tomorrow, Avery is in charge of bringing her teacher a plant or flowers. We made a trip over to Eastern Lake Nursery this afternoon and after deliberating for about five hours, I finally convinced Avery to chose the little succulents. I find them to be the most difficult to kill, albeit not impossible, very difficult. I Thought they would be an easy thing for a teacher to keep alive and enjoy! Avery agreed…finally.
